About

A bit about how I got here.

I have over 5 years' experience working 1:1 with adults and young people in the community, in homes, mental health facilities, residential treatment settings and in schools.

My approach

Person-centred, and pluralistic.

My practice is rooted in person-centred principles and pluralistic practice. Therapy is a chance to explore together that sense of being stuck, lost or confused, and to move towards gaining a greater understanding. Maybe it's something specific, or maybe it's simply a felt sense that something's not quite right.

I work pluralistically, so we decide together what might help. Some people want to talk. Others find it easier to bring a photo, a piece of music, a drawing, or an object that represents how they feel. All methods are welcome, and if you're unsure, that's ok too.

Sessions feel warm and unhurried, a chance to gradually bring what's on the edge of awareness into awareness, together.

Empathy

The therapist senses the client's inner world as if it were their own, without losing the "as if", and communicates that understanding back.

Unconditional positive regard

A warm, non-judgemental acceptance of the client as they are, with no conditions attached to their feelings, thoughts or behaviour.

Congruence

The therapist is genuine and transparent in the relationship, with no professional front, so what they experience and what they express match.

They're the foundation every session is built on.

I'm Will, and I live in London. I hold a First-Class BSc in Person-Centred Pluralistic Counselling (Advanced Practitioner) from the Metanoia Institute, and I'm BACP registered. I've been practising therapy since 2024.

I'm bicultural. I grew up in both Spain and the UK, and from a young age I have been negotiating between the cultures of both. I also went to boarding school, so I understand leaving home young, having to adapt, and the impact of this.

My work started outside the therapy room. I began supporting children and young people with autism, ADHD, and complex needs — through play, sport, and everyday routine — and quickly became fascinated by how differently we all experience the world. That took me into schools, community settings, homes, mental health facilities and residential treatment settings, working 1:1 with people with complex mental health, neurodivergence and addiction, and later as part of multi-disciplinary teams supporting complex mental health needs. I've been running behavioural interventions for the last 5 years. It's shaped how I think about care: bespoke, built together, and non-directive.

I work with adults, young people and adolescents. I see discretion as an important part of the work. I have experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients as well as government-funded clients, and discretion remains the same, whoever you are and however you arrive to the room.

Outside the therapy room

What keeps me grounded.

Football, padel and tennis, hiking, skiing, and wild swimming — most of what I do outside work involves being outdoors or moving. It's part of why I believe wellbeing isn't just a conversation in a room; it's built through routine, movement, and connection too.
